Reel Lives: The women of Saltaire who worked in the mills . Local historian, Colin Coates, has researched the biographies of those women mill workers found on the 1891 census who lived in Saltaire. The names of 108 women have been identified, and although we don't know for certain they worked in Salts Mill, it is likely they did so.
